As a Principal Architect, you will be a part of the customer developing organization for Google Cloud. You will lead cross-functional teams to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies. In this role, you will be a hybrid technical and business advisor. You will direct the conversation and guide the execution of the Sales team by combining both technical strategy and business insight. You will closely partner with Value Engineering in order to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and the overall business partnership with Google Cloud. You will travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.

Responsibilities
- Be the trusted advisor and engage with key technology stakeholders, from architects to C-level. Identify customer priorities and technical objections for Financial Service and Insurance (FSI) industry customers across APAC.
- Design and position holistic FSI industry-specific enterprise solution architecture and technical strategy for customers covering cloud, other Google entities, independent software vendors, third-party elements, and others.
- Make recommendations on the integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to complete solution, provide best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
- Manage the holistic enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, engineering, and more.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect in a cloud computing environment or customer-facing role.
- Experience in cloud computing (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, data), cloud market, and engaged dynamics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.
- Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
- Experience in network infrastructure, security, and application development.
- Knowledge of enterprise technology buying and evaluation process of computing solutions, and technology solutions.
- Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to develop solutions involving multiple business areas.
- Ability to learn and work quickly with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.
