The Merchant Experience Tech Family has been formed to solve this problem by transitioning all Merchant-facing teams into a super app development model, developing on a shared unified platform of backend services and merchant-facing applications.

MEX TF will own the platform-level services and application containers upon which other Merchant teams (Deliveries, Payments, etc.) will develop to solve for their specific use cases

The Software Engineer, Backend – Merchant Experience At Grab Indonesia day to day activities

  • You will develop features as defined in the product or engineering specifications.
  • You will be a part of development who is running the development cycle in a 2-week sprint.

The Software Engineer, Backend – Merchant Experience At Grab Indonesia must haves

  • A sound knowledge of any of the following programming languages: Golang, Java, C, Python.
  • Has at least two year of experience as a backend developer.
  • A good knowledge of programming Programming Design Pattern (Singleton, Factory, etc).
  • A good grasp of the Clean Code concept and SOLID principles.
  • Have used Git Version control, and understand the concept of the version control
