Engineering Manager At Grab Indonesia Duties and Responsibilities

This position is intended to manage software engineering teams at Grab Jakarta, owning end to end systems and services and being a bar raiser in terms of operational excellence.

The key success factors for this role are mastery of distributed systems, excellent design knowledge and project management (breakdown problem, finding the right strategy, shepherd project until the end of implementation, and ensuring the results are sustainable).

Engineering Manager At Grab Indonesia Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant, broad engineering experience, including 3+ years of people management experience
  • B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent knowledge
  • Mastery of distributed systems (AWS)
  • Excellent software design knowledge
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures; relational and non-relational databases
  • You can be a good coder in multiple languages (GoLang, Python, Javascript, Node.JS, C# etc.)
  • Project management
