Job Description

  • Establish, create and monitor monthly closing activities within internal tools covering accounts receivables, accounts payables, trade deposits, accruals, fixed assets register, amortization, update on the advances, deposits, etc.
  • Maintain intercompany transactions and balances reconciliation across the group
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and take responsibility of year-end audit of operating entities
  • Assist in the preparation of external reports
  • Professional development and mentoring of accounting staff to maximize full potential
  • Hands-on approach to manage and oversee the daily operation of accounting function
  • Month End – Manage the close process, review balance sheet and variance analysis reports and commentaries in accordance with Local GAAP and IFRS
  • Responsible for full set of accounts and financial statements.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, yearly financial reports to HQ
  • Strengthen internal controls around financial close process and daily operation of the accounting function
  • Drive continuous improvement in relation to systems and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Accounting
  • ACCA or CPA Certification is a must
  • 8-10 years of experience in a general ledger accounting/audit firm is required with a good knowledge of IFRS and Indonesian GAAP. Big 4 firm experience is preferable
  • Effective communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Experience working within a general ledger system (Oracle EBS is a must) and full cycle of closing process
  • Understanding of inter-company and foreign currency translations
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and communication data logically, accurately, and concisely
  • Proficient use of MS Office programs including MS Word and advanced on MS Excel
  • Strong experience in effectively supervising, directing, monitoring and coaching team members
